Auditions for the first play of the year, Understanding Women, will be held on Sunday January 7th at 2pm, at the theatre.
Understanding Women is a comedy written by Devon Williamson, audiences have enjoyed his other comedies performed at the theatre. This one is also highly amusing and a lot of fun.
Three friends set themselves up in a shed for the weekend, determined to crack an old age mystery. Armed with a case of beer, a bunch of women’s magazines and a holy book, they are going to ‘understand women’. What they discover is not quite what they expected.
The three very different men ponder the meaning of life, engage in role play and crazy antics and a little DIY torture, entertaining audiences with witty dialogue and lots of laughs. They might learn a bit about themselves and each other along the way.
Are you the actor to fill one of these roles? AUDITION ON SUNDAY 7TH JANUARY AT 2PM, BRIDGETOWN THEATRE… backstage crew needed also.
Director – Brian Baker
